I'm new to this so sorry if it's been asked before.
Is it possible to have different usernames and passwords to allow different children access to different material and adults access to all of it?
For example a young child for U stuff, older child to PG, teenager for 15 and adults for 18?

No, only 1 user for MediaBrowser and per device (but only 1 limited group).

Do you plan to add such a feature?

It would be very good for parental control and also for dedicated / fine controlled access to the library.
You should allow to define "views" on the library so that only a specific part of the library can be accessed per view / user.
These views could also be used as individual DLNA shares on the LAN where it is possible to assign a view to a specific device.

Multiple users with their own passwords, and possibly, different access permissions for kids.

Would this at all be included in a future update?

+ 1 for this absolutely. We've only one device so i'd love to be able to define 2 groups - content to be seen by everyone (ie disney movies) and then enter a code or password or something to see the additional content (eg The Excorcist).

I don't know though whether this is technically possible to do.
