Last Played File Device Dependent...

Would it be possible for the last played file marker "**" to be device dependent?

So for example if I had a folder containing:

ASeries.s01e01.avi
ASeries.s01e02.avi
ASeries.s01e03.avi
ASeries.s01e04.avi
ASeries.s01e05.avi

If I watch the first three episodes on my Sony BDP-S570 I expect to see the marker at ASeries.s01e03.avi

If a family member opens the same series (folder) on their Panasonic TV the marker will be at ASeries.s01e01.avi. If they then watch the whole series the marker moves to ASeries.s01e05.avi for the Panasonic TV, however, when I start my Sony BDP-S570 I expect to still see the marker at ASeries.s01e03.avi (which was the last one that device showed).

Thanks.

That is a god idea, but not trivial to implement. Also, the current model work as well - you can watch an episode in the morning in bed an then in the evening in the living room continue.

If all the devices were on static IP addresses, could Serviio not store the marker positions for each folder etc against an IP address? So the marker positions are served depending on the IP address connected to Serviio
