I use the ServiiGo application most of the time instead of using the web based media browser.

Can the ServiiGo application support a plug in to add the chromecast icon on the app so it can be more easy to stream from your phone to any available chromecast.

Currently I use a third party app to perform this task.


All Cast searches for any available media server within your network and then finds any available chromecast to stream the video, but it sometimes lags on loading the video.

it would be nice to bypass the middle man and go straight to the chromecast.

There is some experimental support built in, see viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6803&start=660#p96696 for how to turn it on.

Is this being blocked by Serviio or something on the Android side? Can I do something to help you enable it?

It's mostly just a lack of time to work on it. Made worse by the fact that the last few times I've sat down to work on it there have been lots of library API changes to work though. I might get some time in a few weeks, but not sure.

Yes I was able to get the chrome cast to show.
But it drops the signal within 5-10 minutes
