Control access to your media

Hi!!

I was using Samsung's AllShare 2.0 App for a while, it is a real slow app when it creates library, but one good thing is that it can let us choose wich devices in neghbor can access media and wich ones wont be allowed. By default all devices are blocked and is necesary to specify allowed ones.

This will be great, because sometimes when i connect to a network just for browsing, i forgot to stop server and anyone can check my shared folders.

Thanks!!!!

Maybe a "block" profile can be created that will block all access to files. And maybe a option to make it the default profile when any new devices are detected. That way any guest on the network could not see anything on the serviio server.

There were an open ticket for "user profile" with control access to the library:

I really need to be able to block access to certain folders based on MAC addrs. Will this be part of the security features included in v0.6?

Thanks!

It's not planned for 0.6.
