Passing temp credentials into url

Hi guys.

Long time ago, to pass credentials into an url, this "kind" of link did the job (It's only for eg.):

  Code:

http://username:password@myserviioserver.com/mediabrowser/

But nowadays, with modern browsers, it's outdated and a "bypass" could be very useful on a distant TV over internet without mouse nor keyboard.

This feature could be a simple password with time duration to set in console.

The URL could be:

http://MyServiioServerOnDDns:23424/ql=MyfirstQuicklinkAbcdef/mediabrowser/

for illustration, I have that in my mind for the console:
