Passing temp credentials into url

Long time ago, to pass credentials into an url, this "kind" of link did the job (It's only for eg.):
But nowadays, with modern browsers, it's outdated and a "bypass" could be very useful on a distant TV over internet without mouse nor keyboard.
This feature could be a simple password with time duration to set in console.
