Re: Shortcut/customize playlist

Playlists are not visible in any folder. They only appear in the Playlists presentation. I don't think I'd want them appearing within my regular media folders.

Under the existing Serviio playlist arrangements if you select a playlist the contents are displayed (providing console/Presentation/audio/playlist etc. is set to "Display category").
You can then decide to play it or not.

playlist3.jpg

This is it as it appears in Serviio MediaBrowser but it is the same in any control app such as BubbleUPnP (either as a list or thumbnail grid whichever you choose).

The playlists are in the folder you specify in the Library as above.
I keep them in folder D:\media-library\audio\playlists
and do not mix them up with the music folders which are in D:\media-library\audio\music

Re: Shortcut/customize playlist

Paul, he wanted the playlist to appear under the Folders view. It has nothing to do with the presentation settings.

Dan, I see where you are coming from. I read it as a folder not folder view.

Whichever way then for your music you look in "Folders" (if you use folders - I do not) and for playlists look in "Playlist" which has the code to display the different file types (.m3u, .pls etc).

Werner gets what he wants with an extra click.

Re: Shortcut/customize playlist

Folder view will not show playlists, regardless of their location. Since my playlist folder doesn't contain anything but playlists, the folder itself isn't even visible in Folder view. Playlists only appear in the Playlist presentation.
