Keep service permissions when upgrade

For Windows app. It would be nice if the upgrade process would keep service permissions settings as they were.
Currently it resets the permission and after every upgrade I ave issues... because TV doesn't say error like "cannot access file" but "unsuported file format". And so I am checking profiles and everything until as the last resort I check error log and see that there is access error.

It would be nice... https://nox.tips/ https://xender.vip/

Re: Keep service permissions when upgrade

Could you be more specific about the error you're encountering? I've never had to redo any settings of any kind after a Serviio update. Now sometimes Microsoft changes something when they send an update, but there's nothing Serviio can do about that.

The most I've ever had to do after a Serviio update was to re-apply some special changes I've made to the profiles file, or the system file. But since Serviio 2.0 (and even further back for profiles) both files will leave user-specific files alone, and I have never needed to change anything after an upgrade.
