Screensaver when idle

Hi everyone,
Im an Argentinan developer. And I've been thinking in adding to the server the possibility to display a screensaver when it's idle for a period of time. The thing is that nowadays, most of us has LCD or, even better, LED TV's that dosen't insume much power, and on the other hand, we can see many digital photo frame's over the market. So, why don't we include a screensaver in the server so when we are not using it, it can display our photos, maybe in lower brightness to give a more real apparence.
I hope you get interested with the idea. We have many TV's in our house that would look fantastic as a digital photo frame when we are not using it as a TV.

I agree, this is a TV feature option, not serviio.

But with serviio 0.6 you can use Picasa photo rss feed source, for example:

You say that should be a TV feature but how can the TV know that has to stream content trough serviio when it's idle?? I think fir that reason I haven't seen any TV with such feature. So that's why I think it should be serviio the one that should do it. Thanks for your answers

My TV starts its own screensaver (not media based, just some logo or whatever moving on the screen). The server only responds to the TV's requests, so the TV would have to send a request when it's idle to display some image or whatever - and it's not going to happen
