could u make a user interface broadcast from the server and navigate though it from a tv using what button can be use from a remote.i do know this is possible coz there are pay tv company testing these and australia biggest pay tv company foxtel are doing these in there new cable/satellite box next year as the main service for there boxs,if you could make some thing the same that would be great ,it would be like a next gen media server .you could have updated ads on the interface so you can always have a free version of serviio if it came to it

custom interfaces wont be added to serviio as that is completely out of the scope of DLNA. You also have to remember that serviio is a media SERVER and the kind of APP system you are asking for would be on a RENDERER rather than a server.

the reason i asked if you can have a interface coz the more i red up on these try on boxs it sounded like once the device has logged in to the wonder box server and stays login and only the interface feed in the box changes so the viewing stays as fast as normal tv is now (so u can channel surf fast and not take 10 sec to change channels) i dont know the dlna photocals i just thought if they can have 1 live feed that changes can serviio do the same
