How about an option to protect shared folders with a PIN for, ahem, added security?

What's the point? You can't enter a pin on the TV and if you have to go to the PC to enter it, you might as well just disable the folder in the console until you want it to show up on the TV, as is currently the method for the Online Library ADULT folder.

When it is out I will be adding it to ServiiDroid so that android users can lock and unlock folders from their phones.

Hopefully someone else can take up the challenge of writing console apps for iOS / WP7.

AFAIC its already out. Just disable the folder using the click box assuming you are mappping that existing feature on your remote app.
