Refresh Interval & status log

It would be really useful to be able to set the refresh interval a little better than just a 2 digit minute setting, and get some more info about exactly is happening during that time.
I have a stack of files and the first time it was refreshing it took almost an hour. A visible log of what it was doing would have been good.
Additionally being able to set the refresh interval to more than 99 minutes would be good. Or schedule X times a day at particular times.
cheers,
mike

What files have been added can be seen in serviio.log. If you want to know what exactly is happening (eg when the thread starts and ends) you can enable
detailed logging - in that case the log becomes very verbose though.

Hi,
If I may just reheat this little thread: Does anybody share my experience that a library refresh interval saved does not get displayed again when the console is re-opened?
I enter 99 as a value (I'd prefer longer intervals than that btw to allow updating e.g. twice a day), save it, wait for the update process to complete, exit the console, re-open it, and the 99 is gone.
(Apart form a player profile issue this is the only glitch I've got with serviio, so my little eye has got plenty of time to stare at the empty interval field.)
Have a nice one,
Low

Zip,
can I check anywhere if the interval has been saved at all?

Not easily, but you could turn on
detailed logging and from there get the timestamps of when the LibraryUpdateThread wakes up.
