Serviio DLNA clients for Mobile Devices

I know that Serviio as a DLNA server can be connected to by any DLNA client, however on mobile platforms (especially iOS) there are few clients that even work, let alone do it well. I believe there is trim for dedicated Serviio clients which carry the same level of quality as Serviio Server. They could even be paid solutions and thereby generate revenue.

Some DLNA client apps on iOS and Android feature built in DLNA servers too - this could also be a potential feature of any mobile app - however I believe this to be less useful.

Currently I use AirVideo app, however it's proprietary solution has started to be less desirable. I have also used Plex apps but have found this to have poor performance generally and be full of bugs.

A simple client to go with serviio server - supporting all the features it provides - and design with the same simple quality of Serviio, would be a great addition :)

IOS cannot be supported as apple restrict access to there hardware decoder for third party apps and will only support mp4 and that can not be transcoded to so all files would have to be manualy encoded by the user to codecs that the device liked before streaming.

android there are a few setups that work perfectly with serviio have a look at our wiki for information.
