Re: LULU block Serviio

You need port 1900 UDP open, and port 23423 for accessing the Serviio console from a different computer on your network. I don't think you need anything else open on the Serviio computer, but then I don't run a firewall on my servers so can't say for certain if any others need to be opened.

Remote access is generally used for a firewall on the Internet connection to permit connections outside (i.e. from a computer on the Internet) for accessing the content. This would be needed if you have a paid version of Serviio and want to access MediaBrowser when you are not on your home network. But again, that is for your Internet firewall, and I can't say for certain if it would also need to be opened on your specific computer running Serviio. I think it might, but that's a more complicated discussion about routing.

I just had to scroll your image and now I realize what it's for. This is for access to the Serviio console from a different computer on your network as I mentioned above. The splat (*) is telling the firewall that any computer can connect. If you wanted to restrict what computer could access the Serviio console, you could restrict it via an IP address here.

Re: LULU block Serviio

Thanks for the reply.
It's really bizarre that my tv didn't see Serviio until i disable LULU, and, after start seeing Serviio, enable the firewall again and my tv keep seeing Serviio and working properly... port seems dont do anything...

Re: LULU block Serviio

Just a guess on my part, but maybe LULU recognized Serviio running when it was restarted and permitted access. I know zilch about LULU, but maybe it's smart enough for that.
