Trying to install without luck I get a pop up saying "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel"
Not sure what to do.

Does the downloaded file have .exe extension? If not, try to download it from the mirror of using a different browser.
