Need a Video Playlist to play clips of files

If I can give a "Hypothetical" scenario that would explain what I am trying to achieve.

I have every episode of Top Gear recorded via a PVR, I want to keep them all and don't want to double up on storage.

I want to create a Playlist of (for example) all the Races.

How can I do this ? I'd need file1 in the playlist to only give me a certain section ( say from 10:43:00 of the file to 22:32:45 ) and then I'd want to progress to file2 where id need another section ( say from 03:12:25 to 17:00:30 )

Doing this would then enable me to keep only the full episodes stored, but also be able to view a full episode, or pick a playlist and just watch a collection of "same type" clips, such as a playlist of just the "Cool Wall" section of each show.

Hope that makes sense and that someone knows of a way this could be achieved.

Thanks

You can create a playlist for Serviio, but you'd have to create additional clips for the best bits. You cannot just specify a portion of the file, it'll always stream the whole clip.

So there is nothing that can do this, something similar to a .CUE file, where you can at least specify the start points of the tracks ?
