Asterisks Question...

On my Sony BDP-S570, when I use a media server I notice that some files have one or two asterisks next to them. Originally I thought this was an oddity of the Sony, but I noticed today the Panasonic LCD TV we have also does it.

Anyone know what these "*" mean? Some videos and folders have none, some have one some have two. :?

Thanks.

Ah! I searched for "asterisks" which is why i missed that thread!

So "**" means last episode viewed? So what does a single "*" mean?

Looking at that thread I don't think it is a Serviio only thing. Pretty sure WMP11 server did it as well.

Serviio only uses **, not a single one

The Sony BDP-S570 sometimes has single asterisks before the number, but not always. See the attachment for an example...

Yes in fact my Sony BDP-S373 too...
Asterisks appears only with [Divx] and [MP3] mime-type, I don't know why.No one with [MPEG], [M2TS]
