getting an older show to play

I am trying to play an older series and cannot get it to play. The screen comes up with a window that says "direct download" "continue to file" and "firedrive" along the bottom. When I press continue to file, it goes to another screen with an arrow. After I press the arrow I get a black window that says "Error loading player: No playable sources found." What do I need to do to play these old shows?

Nothing to work with here. Is this a local file (exists on your computer or other network device) or is it an online source?

If it's local, what is it, as in container type, video codec, etc? Run the command "ffmpeg -i filename" and post back with the file information. You may need to enter the full path to both ffmpeg and your video file, and if there are spaces in the file name make sure you enclose the file name in quotes.

Here's an example I would enter on my computer:
  Code:
C:\Program Files\Serviio\lib\ffmpeg -i "G:\Airplane! (1980).mkv"
