Windows goes to sleep mode while streaming
Posted: Fri Jul 24, 2015 10:38 amI'm using Serviio to stream movies to my Samsung tv. My problem is that Windows shuts down the PC into sleep mode even while I'm watching movies. This seems to do with Windows power settings and not Serviio as such. If I set Sleep mode to 5 minutes, my PC powers down after 5 minutes into a movie and then I get the "device disconnected" message on tv.
Windows 7 Power Options has a setting called "prevent idling to sleep when sharing media" which I imagine would prevent this from happening, but it does. Can Windows be prevented from going to sleep while sharing media?
