Adding multicast streams to the library

I'm trying to add a multicast stream to the library. When I enter the address (udp://@239.30.30.1:5000, stream works in VLC correctly) and then click Check stream URL, I'm getting that The Stream URL is valid and currently available, but when I try to play it on the TV (Panasonic E30 series), I'm getting Cannot read file. My workaround is to create HTTP stream with VLC from multicast to localhost, add the HTTP stream to the library and everything is working correctly. Is it possible to add multicast streams directly to the library? Thanks in advance!
