Which bluray player is best at playing DLNA-served material?

Is there some sort of general consensus as to which bluray player is best at playing DLNA served video and audio?

I didn't buy my BDP S370 for DLNA use, but if I'm to invest in a new one and give the S370 to my son, which BLuRay player would be the best choice from a DLNA compatibility standpoint?

Cerberus, while playing a file through the network, what kind of info does the Samsung provide when you press the info button? The Sony will display the bitrate and audio encoding among other things.

yer it more than likely does but i have that turned off in serviio, i have turned metadata back on for you and once its done with my library i will see what other information it give me and post back

If it's anything like the Samsung TVs then you're out of luck and only the information provided by Cerberus is shown (ie no codec info or other technical metadata, let alone any descriptive metadata other than title)

On my Sony, when I press the display button while watching a video it shows me a timebar, total video length, the video bitrate, the type of audio ( Dolby, MP2, MP3) with sampling rate and it's bitrate.

I would have thought that the Samsung could display similar info. BTW, this is for any video being watched regardless if it's from a disc, USB, or over DLNA.

I thought that I would elaborate a little more in case we were talking about two different things.

I have a PN59D6500 that works excellenty for everythig except streaming mpg recorded from mythtv. It will play them, but it will not allow ffwd or time search. I have read some other posts that seem to indicate that this issue isn't present in all samsung devices. I would like to stay with samsung for blu ray mainly because my remote would be compatible already. Do you know if the c5900 model will ffwd mpg files?

ffwd should work on all samsung BDP but you have to use the < and > directional keys not the << and >> buttons
