[Windows OS] Optimizing TCP/IP for home network streaming

Do you know some Windows OS Tips to optimize home network for video streaming from DLNA server (Serviio) to DLNA devices (Sony Bravia TV) ?
How to optimize TCP/IP parameters for home network?
For example change windows registry like : TcpWindowSize, MTU, RWIN...
I know there were some guides on the web to optimize Broadband Internet connections, but how about Home Network ?

For internet connection optimization, suggest this TCP Optimizer tool.
It provides for easy tuning of all related TCP/IP parameters, such as MTU, RWIN, and even advanced ones like QoS and ToS/Diffserv prioritization.

I don't know if that could be apply to our home networking.

in my opinion the standard settings for TCP/IP on a windows 7/Vista installation are perfectly fine as long as they are used with a decent Branded router ( eg Belkin or Netgear) but if u really want to try this, then yes the tool u sugested is vey good and i have used it in the past myself.

Also found out this tip for people who experience bad Wi-Fi throughput on Windows OS:

I got a new laptop and was getting slow streaming while developing new features and after changing the Mixed mode setting it went back to smooth playback :-)
