Best Media Control App for Ipad ?

I use the excellent BubbleUPnP control app on my Android and Kindle devices to control Serviio but it is not available for Apple devices like the Ipad (we have one in the house).
What control apps do other forum users recommend for use on the Ipad and what is their experience with them?

Do you mean control, or are you referring to a player for iOS? The two best options for players are Infuse and VLC. Not certain if that's exactly what you're looking for.

No a control app such as BubbleUPnP or Mezzmo (both on Android) not a player (renderer).

OK, I thought Bubble was also a player. Don't know my apps that well I guess.

You are correct. BubbleUPnP is also a player (renderer) as are most control apps.
However there is usually little value (as a player) as the sound quality of the controlling device is likely to be limited.

The main purpose is to control the use of media content on servers like Serviio and other sources and to stream it to networked devices especially high quality media streamer/player/renderers.
Infuse and VLC that you suggested look interesting options and may do the job. Any user experience anyone?
Anyone using other Control Apps on the Ipad etc?

Re: Best Media Control App for Ipad ?

Welcome but I think you are a bit off-track.
I am looking at media control software that can access the Serviio media library and deliver it to various UPnP connected devices like BubbleUPnP does on Android/kindle.
Serviio Pro v2.3, DBpoweramp & Asset UPnP (R7.4), HP Elitebook, HP Pavilion, Windows 10 Pro, Linn Majik DS/1, NEET AirstreamPro renderer, Naim NAC72/NAP140 (x2), Celestion Ditton 25 and Spendor A5 speakers, WD TV Media Player (x2), Panasonic Blu-ray DMP-BDT360, Panasonic TV, Amazon Fire 7 HDX, Kazoo & BubbleUPnP apps, Qobuz Studio Hi-Res.
