After edit user-profiles.xml, restart server or service?

Which one should I restart between Serviio server console and windows service after I edit the user-profiles.xml?

• When I stop the server in the Serviio server console status tab, the serviio windows service is still running.

I want to know which one will take effect?

A recent Serviio update (1.10, I think) would reload the profile files using that button, so it's no longer necessary to completely stop the Serviio service. Using the stop/start button in the console is all you need.
