Serviio Pro

If I purchase Pro 2, will I be required to purchase Pro 3 when available in order to keep the Pro edition, or is it a one time purchase?

Re: Serviio Pro

As it currently stands, yes a version 3.0 will require a new license. But is the length of time between 1.0 and 2.0 is any factor, it won't be for quite some time. Version 1.0 was release July 2012, and version 2.0 was May of this year. I have no idea if Zip will wait that long again before making a major version upgrade. That's completely up to him. But it even took 3+ years to go from his very first release to version 1.0. He seems add a lot of updates with only minor version up-numbering.

Re: Serviio Pro

If we consider everything in these intervals, then Pro 3 will be released no earlier than 2026-2027;) Then it will be relevant :D
