How to install serviio on elementary?

I would like to share my movies from PC and be able to access them from PS4.

Is there any simple way to do that? I was thinking about installing serviio file sharing, which is pretty simple way to share files, but I couldnt figure out how to install it on linux.

I downloaded some serviio archive, extracted it, but I dont know what to do with these files.

Can someone please help?

Serviio is not a file sharing service, it is a DLNA streaming server. Yes, it can easily stream to a PS4, or any other player on your network.

For Linux installations, you must also install Java, as it is not part of the install package. This page provides some of the initial steps to take when installing on a Linux operating system:
