Question's about Panasonic TX-55CXW754"

Hi ,

i'm planning to buy a new television.
Option 1 : Panasonic TX-55CXW754

Option 2 : Samsung UE55JU7590TXZG

Which one causes less problems with the serviio dlna ?

I'm running Serviio Pro 1.6 on a Server 2012R2 https://showbox.bio/ https://tutuapp.uno/.

My currently Samsung UE37D6500 running fine.

I'm running a lot of 1080p mkv's with DTS sound (which causes problems on panasonic ? )

Are there any personal experience with one of this TV's ?

Thanks in advance :)

Re: Question's about Panasonic TX-55CXW754"

I have a Samsung JU7100, so almost the same. It can process DTS sound, so that might be worth it for you. But it doesn't switch to DTS by itself, unless they've updated something in the firmware. I stopped using the TV interface for playback years ago, instead using a Blu Ray player, Roku or Shield for my media playback. Far less hassle in the end.

I used to have a Panasonic plasma TV, and its DLNA playback was terrible. It was what pushed me to Roku and BD players in the first place.
