New to Serviio. A lil guidance please.

I have downloaded serviio to my pc with all the files i want to stream to my other computers/phone.
I understand i can download serviio app to my phone to access that way.
My question is on the other computers and laptops i want to stream to, do i have to install serviio on all the computers?

... how do i access serviio from my other computers?

any help would be awesome...

Serviio is a DLNA streaming server. Almost all "Smart TVs" have built in DLNA functionality, so they should see Serviio if connected to the same network. No app of any kind needs to be installed. The same goes for Blu Ray players, although not all of them support DLNA. Unless they have an app that can be downloaded to provide such functionality, there's nothing you can do to add it.

For computers, the best player to install is probably VLC. If you want a large screen interface, you could install Kodi, which has versions for computers as well as Android devices such as the Shield player.
