Hello!
Does DLNA spec allow to point DMR to a folder stored on DMS?

I.e. after pointing a track in a folder, DMR automatically plays the rest of the folder.

Many DMC apps have "playlists". It looks like a patch to the gap in DLNA spec: how to provide a list of media, not a single file, to DMR (using DMC)?

yes it can be done with a DMC or hopefully soon a playlist feature (it is planned) will be added to serviio.

depends on the DMR, Samsungs play automatically the next item in the folder/category
