First, Hello all.

My DTV setup does not seem to be able to play anything except mpg files. At present, I have been converting all files over to mpg. No wav AVI or any other format will play, just mpg.

So I ran Device Spy, here is its info
http-get:*:image/jpeg:*,http-get:*:image/png:*,http-get:*:audio/L16:*,http-get:*:video/mpeg:*

Sure looks to me like Mpg is all DIRECTV Media share can handle.

Any video file that is not MPG, shows up on the screen X-ed out. It shows up n the list but the DVR does not even try and play it when selected. Looked at the log, and no attempt is made to play the file.

Looking for a work around converting files from Mp4,Mkv,Avi..ect all takes time

In the serviio console, select the directTV profile for your renderer. that profile transcodes everything to the required format for the DTV DVR.

Profile is set for DTV receiver..

Keeps changing to blank or generic after reboot

That is caused by something that was tried in 0.6.0.1. It has been changed back for the version that should be released soon.
