rtmp with swfurl / pageurl / playpath

Hi,

I have very general question. I have seen users have given information about tool like rtmpgui which gives you rtmpdump / rtmp link to access media. I was curious to know if accessing those contents using rtmp link, are we directly connecting to the media owner server or it is connecting via pageurl we mentioned?

Thanks

Ritz

Re: rtmp with swfurl / pageurl / playpath

Reason i asked this question as there are couple of sites which offer online channel as a paid service. I am not very sure the content they are offering have any copyright infringment. So if i access there content through there website, i guess i am not laible as media is accesed by there website but if use rtmp links, i am directly accessing the media server, so i may become liable.
is my understanding correct? please suggest.

it's always accessed from your IP, either via Serviio or via their flash player.
