Serviio and Avast 7 IS = problem

I have install the new Avast 7 IS and have troubles with Serviio. Serviio working fine with Videos on my HDD but whene i enter a Online Stream Serviio will not work. I see only "Load" on my Samsung D TV. Whene i remove the Online Stream this not solved the Problem. Whene i uninstall Serviio and make a new install Serviio working finde on my TV but only with Videos on my HDD. I have give Serviio all rights on the Firewall. What can i do?

It looks like Avast has a firewall built in. I would check to see if you can disable the firewall. If this fixes the issue then you will need to set up an exception in the Avast firewall to allow serviio to contact the internet feeds.

This is assuming you gave serviio rights to the Windows Firewall not Avast.

you might also give access to ffmpeg.exe in the Serviio install directory

Does ffmpeg traverse port 80, or is it setup on another port.

Re: Serviio and Avast 7 IS = problem

depends on the port of the stream....it's only incoming traffic though
