Hi Guys

I am streaming video to my PS3 with no issues in the theatre room

I have a Wii in the back lounge and was wandering if anyone has successfully got serviio connected to it?

Any guides or links would be great fully received :-D

Thanks

Adam

Don't know if Wii is DLNA compliant. Could you check this http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=device_sf ?

Hi Guys

I managed to find a work arround, but it doesnt use DNLA to connect to serviio :-(

I installed the home brew channel, then installed WiiMC and you can map it to your network share, works great with avi/mpg files but crap with MP4's

There is a webbrowser on the wii and i tried connecting to the new serviio web interface but it doesnt support the serviio web player :-(

If anyone knows of a home brew that uses DNLA to connect to serviio let me know

Thanks

Adam

WIIMC does not support DLNA just SMB or http streams. Also the Wii can only play SD files, so you need to transcode any HD files to mpeg2 SD and stream them to WIIMC. VLC Shares is the server solution to do this. See the WIIMC forum.
