[SOLVED] Only Showing 148 Files

I have a serviio Pro v 1.0.1 Evaluation License I have used serviio in the past . The problem I am having is that I only show 148 Files of video no matter of what I do. I have split the directory into 3 parts hoping that it will take care of the problem. Every thing works great. I'm a newbie and is very flustered about this. I love Serviio

What is your device model ?
That could be due to a renderer device limitation.
Serviio does not limit the number of files (only with online resources)

I am using a Sony smp 100, smp 200, amd a netgear 1001 all report the same thing

What is your OS ?
Do you try with the Serviio Browser ?

I'm using windows xp and no I don't know what serviio browser is. I looked at the file browser and it shows 157 files

serviio mediabrowser is a new feature (since v1.0), do you try this link on internet explorer :
http://localhost:23424/mediabrowser/EDIT : I try on my Sony EX501 and Sony BDP, both can display 160 files, don't know what is the limit, but serviio does not limit to 148 files !

I don't have the pro version to use the media browser . Still having the same problem. Don't know what to do next

Could you enable detailed serviio log (see signature link), delete ./serviio.log, restart serviio service, browse the folder, then post the log here ?

I tried the browser and it didn't show the files that I just added I will try what u advise I'm sorry that I'm a little slow. I used windows and system 36 mainframe but this has me buffaloed. Please be patient with me and I am glad u decided to help me. Thanks

Well people for better or for worst I found out the problem. I loaded another server software (ps3 media server) and it showed all of the files that I had. When attempting to play those files it showed something like M2TS on the end and in the title it said Encoded. Well I tried to play it anyway and after a few seconds it said my file was corupt. So instead of Serviio displaying corrupt files it choose to not display them at all. Now that I know this I should be able to figure more things out in the future. Thanks to everyone that assisted me in this task.
