Serviio

Hi everyone, I'm new here...

I have been using Serviio Free for a few months and have been quite impressed with it... for starters the service seems to be more robust than PS3 Media Server that I also use - meaning it takes less effort to get devices to be seen.

I generally use Serviio with my PS3, am early generation Samsung 3D Plasma but also a number of Android devices. I have only just tried the pro version and was impressed how well video streamed. So all things considered I like Serviio.

I do have a few questions....

Are there any plans to release version 2 anytime soon... I only ask because I noticed that the pro licence will only cover the current version 1.xxx so should I wait? I also tried the ServiiGo and Droid Android apps... both very simple but very good.

Also I have searched but couldn't specifically find any mention of LPCM output to bypass DTS audio to my Onkyo Amp via HDMI. I haven't been able to output DTS using Serviio, I have seen it mentioned that Serviio can not do this, but it is a method that PS3MS uses successfully.

Any tips will be most welcome...

Bypass DTS is not possible currently.

Thanks for the reply... good to know about the Pro version. Hopefully DTS bypass will feature at some point as it is a feature I use quite often on PS3MS.

Struggling to get Tunein radio plugin to work, I can see the folder but no stations are listed
