I searched for this and found nothing, so I thought I would let everyone know in case it wasn't common knowledge. I enjoy streaming online content through Serviio, but sometimes I enjoy watching a show so much I want to save it and watch it later through my local Library in Serviio for those occasions my internet goes down or the content is removed from the streaming site.

If you are streaming your online content through Serviio on a PS3 you can do just that. All you have to do is select the video you wish to save, hit the Triangle button and then select "Copy". The video will be saved to you PS3's Hard Drive as an MPG file. My experience has been wonderful, downloads of 30 minute shows from Hulu and CBS take about 1-2 minutes.
You can then transfer the file to a flash drive or external hard drive and move it over to the computer which Serviio is installed.

I don't know if any other devices allow you to do this, if they do could you post here with the make/model of the device?
