Support: Pioneer BDP-x300

hello, i have a bluray player pioneer bdp-x300, it can see dlna serviio server, but it cant show films (mkv, fullhd). My others network devices with kodi or vlc client can it.

Serviio see the pioneer like generic dlna profile.

Whit plex it work well.

Can you publish a profile for this model bluray player?

thanks you

Re: Support: Pioneer BDP-x300

Unfortunately it's extremely hard to create a profile for a device that isn't available for testing. There hasn't been any player updates for many years, and there are none for any Pioneer player. You might try using the Sony BDP-Sx100 profile. Just be aware that it will transcode 4K/H.265 material since that profile is designed for a 1080 player. You could also try one of the Roku 4K player profiles, although those will transcode the lossless audio that your player might be able to play.

Once you find a profile that does most of what you need, we might be able to assist with tweaking a profile with you to improve it and create your own personal profile for that device.
