Hi,

Yesterday I accidentaly found out my Android phone can effortlessly stream videos directly to my D-Link MovieNite DSM-310.

After some research it seems this is done via DLNA, and further searching landed me at Serviio. Awesome software!

But, after even more research I can't figure out how to stream to the MovieNite.

That device has no DLNA advertised anywhere, and has no UI to browse a server. The way it works with Android is that I play something and there's a button on the phone that when pressed starts sending the video to the device. Pretty impressive actually, since I didn't even have to configure anything.

In Serviio, the MovieNite device does show up as green in the Status tab. So how can I instruct Serviio to send something to it?

Thanks!

Ha! Just found Skifter, it installs on my phone, I select Serviio as the source, MovieNite as the player, and off I go!

Still, is there a way to do this directly from Serviio?
