Here is what I want to do...can serviio do this?
Posted: Mon May 13, 2013 2:02 pmI have serviio set up at home on my laptop. I have a really nice Samsung TV set up with it. I use the TV remote, go to the serviio input and I can browse my files. Its truly awesome.
I want my parents to have something similar back home but be able to access MY files remotely. How would I do this? It needs to be simple where they can just use the remote. Their TV isn't internet enabled so I would have to get something like AppleTV, slingbox, WD TV Play to make it work. I want to just specify a folder on my computer that is to be shared, just like I currently do with serviio at home, and have it be accessed remotely.
How could this be done?
