Only Audio Streaming from PC (w/o video) needed.

hey there,

I followed this excellent guide (http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=stream_pc) to get my desktop on my LG TV. Everything works (my laptop is a bit slow, but still it is decent).
However, I do not need the picture and would rather only(!) stream the audio. I guess I am just looking for some (hoepfully) minor adjustments I haven't been able to figure out myself.

I am guessing, that I only need to change a few things in the commandline start of vlc to get only audio:
  Code:
C:\Programs\VLC TEST 1.1.10\vlc.exe" -vvv dshow:// --sout=#transcode{venc=ffmpeg,vcodec=mp2v,vb=10000,fps=24,scale=0.5,width=1280,acodec=mp3,ab=192,channels=2,samplerate=44100}:std{access=http,mux=ts,dst=:8081} --no-sout-rtp-sap --no-sout-standard-sap --ttl=1 --sout-keep   :dshow-vdev=screen-capture-recorder :dshow-adev="Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable)"  :dshow-caching=2000

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Andrew

PS: Sorry if this has been asked before, but my search attempts did not give me any clues I would have understood. So, thanks again.

Well, this has been very helpful. :-(
I am still looking for a solution. This shouldn't be too hard. I would imagine streaming video is a lot harder than audio.. but that only audio is impossible.. come on guys..

I found a solution that works and is simple. In case anybody else likes an answer here is what worked for me:

Asset UPnP from the dbPoweramp folks will also do that. http://www.dbpoweramp.com/asset-upnp-dlna.htm
Windows 7 and Vista users can capture their PC sound output and stream to a UPnP player through the PC Sound Capture WASAPI item.

I just tested it out. Without doing anything on the PC side [...], I went to my Denon 4308CI, selected Asset and then went to Advanced Search, PC Sound Capture
