No Renderer Profiles (devices) Visible

Hey

I recently moved to a new home and setup a new internet service. Before, I had my desktop running Serviio connected directly to the router. This time, the router is on the opposite end of the house, meaning I now use a NetGear wireless adapter. I reinstalled Serviio, but have been unable to find any devices on my network (even when turned on). What is my next move?

Post a detailed log showing Serviio starting up.

I presume you have looked at all the basic networking issues - you have LAN connectivity from the PC Serviio is on to another PC, you can get to the internet from this PC and all TV's, UPNP is enabled on your router (after we see your log we may also need to check that the correct ports are open). I think you are asking for a world of pain putting your server on a wireless link, but if you have no other option.... (may want to look at Ethernet over Power adapters).

Thanks for the reply

An update - it is working now. I have NO IDEA what happened. All I did was... wait. Maybe it was turning on WMP Sharing, or turning on AllShare, or cleaning my registry or updating my Java. I dunno what exactly, but it's working like before.

Yeah, wireless is a risk, but it's my only option right now. I might go for an ethernet via power adapter thing in the future, but it looks good so far.
