Serviio

I just updated Serviio to 1.2.1 (Mac) and now the new version won't let me choose anything with .mp4 extension in my "movies" files - only iMovie stuff... Any ideas?

don't understand what your problem is. please describe exactly your issue.

I am having the same problem. I am new to Serviio and am not very tech savvy. But every time I am in the Shared Folders tab, I click on "Add Local" and go to the folder where all my .mp4 videos are. I see them all listed, but I cannot click on any of them or add them to the library. Am I supposed to convert the videos to a different format?

Use the Add Local to select the folder that contains your media files, not the media files themselves ie. you don't select the mp4 files, just the folder they are in.
