Ubuntu and files on NAS

I'm running Serviio 1.3 on an Ubuntu 13.04 install.
I have Serviio running fine and have compiled ffmpeg from source.

I have all my content stored on a NAS on the network
NAS has SMB and NFS connectivity options and user accounts the same as the one on the Ubuntu PC

How do I successfully add the shares from the NAS in to Serviio so it will see them?
Many thanks
