okay now this is a strange one minor as this so far has not effected my serviio in anyway other than the log file,

i had a few problems installing serviio on my system 1.3 at first it did work but then stopped. i check the log file and all i was getting was this

2013-08-26 02:11:25,557 DEBUG [ApplicationInstanceManager] Port is already taken. Notifying first instance.
2013-08-26 02:11:25,558 DEBUG [ApplicationInstanceManager] Successfully notified first instance.

that is the whole log file only those two lines?

now i have tried reinstalled 1.3, deleted the log file, start stop the service and restarted my linux server and nothing worked, i then realised 1.3.1 was out and deleted the 1.3 complete and installed that now serviio is fully working so far, but i am still getting this in the log file, my firewall is off, i am using Serviio WebUI Console and is working so far, added librarys and it is adding files and so far no problems with playing films on my Samsung TV any idea what this is?

When Serviio starts, it blocks a certain port to ensure only one Serviio instance is run on the machine. So if you then attempt to run it again, you will see this message. So I guess you had an old Serviio process running somewhere, blocking the port.
