Mac: serviio cannot connect to server does not seem to be...
Posted: Thu Aug 29, 2013 10:33 amFirst of all... i don't know if i made a mistake while installing serviio on my mac OS X 10.8.4, but there appears to be two logos in my application menu, one called "serviio" and the other one called "serviio-console". The first one doesn't seem to be working, while the second one often says "serviio cannot connect to server does not seem to be running. exiting." i think it says that half the times i launch it.
I have used serviio though when i finally get it to work, but my wi-fi on my mac seems to be unstable somehow, so my TV suddenly can't find serviio on my computer for a few secs...
So it's actually to problems i have; trouble with launching serviio and trouble with an unstable wi-fi on my mac.
My roommate has a windows and he doesn't have problems with either Serviio or the wi-fi connection.
I've looked in the FAQ and wiki, but I don't understand programming language or what it's called...
