Unable to read Album Artist

I don't think this is a serviio problem, but hope someone can help.

Many of my music files show properly under Album Artist, but many don't. The ones that don't are vinyl rips (in flac). They are available and do appear under Artists, etc. The albums show under "Unknown" as do some (but not most) flac files ripped from CDs where the Album Artist field shows "Various Artists".

I thought I might have a problem with the folder names - so changed them. No luck.

I thought it was the folders themselves, so I moved some files into a folder that works. No luck.

File were ripped in flac with Audacity. Metadata, including album art, was added by Tag&Rename. Have tried a number of things in Tag & Rename (including coping from ID3v1 to ID3v2 and, on another file, the opposite).
with no luck.

I do have one ripped vinyl album showing in Album Artist. A vinyl rip of Dave Edmunds Twangin... show up fine. It was a problem album, in that I had troubling accessing a folder called Twangin... so I dropped the trailing ... Had real problem in moving the files around. Whatever I did seems to have solved the problem, as it the only one visible in Album Artists!

Any ideas?

Am replying to my own post with a criticism, a solution and another problem.

Criticism - why does Serviio not read the "Album Artists" field?

Solution - copy the contents of the field to "AlbumArtists" (without the space). This can be done using a script in Mp3Tag. My otherwise fantastic Tag&Rename seems to add the info to "Album Artists" with no ability to change it.

New Problem - So, now that I've changed my data to "AlbumArtists", I can't seem to get Serviio to see the updated files as new files, so it won't update the library. How can I force that to happen? Not a good feature that Serviio does't reindex when metadata is changed.

Interesting issue - probably need a rescan button for all categories of media.

Try Rescan Video Metadata - I know its only for video, but try it anyway.
If not, then try - on the library tab, uncheck music against the relevant folder(s), press Save, Force Refresh. This should remove the music files from the library. Then reverse it - check Music against the relevant folders, press Save, Force Refresh. may take a while depending on how many music files you have.

While the Refresh button didn't work, it eventually did update. All good now. Really wish it read "Album Artists" though. Took me a long time to get all my info changed over to "AlbumArtist".

It should work, if you have selected file updates in the console.
