So I currently have a network server setup to host my files and can't seem to transencode 1080P content to ps3
I have this hardware
Dual Amd Opteron 2419 1.8GHz six core
6 GB of ram
Videos are h264 mkv, have it set to use multi core but seems to only use one core and has a crazy studder

See my post here for main causes of stuttering:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10520&p=69992&hilit=lg+stuttering#p69992Things to try (in order of most likely issues):
- Look at your CPU usage while transcoding (all MKV's are either remuxed or transcoded for the PS3). If peaking at over 80% then you have an issue. If this is the case:
- "have it set to use multi core but seems to only use one core and has a crazy studder" - have you set it to a set number of cores, or to optimal? I set mine to a set number of cores.
- Do a detailed log and capture the ffmpeg command used to transcode the file. Post log.
- If using wireless try wired connection if possible;
- If your transcoding temp file is on an SSD, set it to a standard HDD
