This is my first time posting. The problem I have is that when using an older version of Serviio I was able to play all my dvr-ms files. Since installing the newest version I cannot play them. Can anyone help me. :(

Thanks for responding. When I add the folder containing my dvr-ms files to the library, and save it, the folder is empty. i get the message on my Samsung TV "there are no files in folder"

What TV/DVD/whatever are you trying to play the file on (make and model), which renderer profile are you using (from Serviio console, status tab) and post a detailed log (click on the link) of when you are playing the file. Nobody can assist unless they have that information.

If your config/log4j.xml is blank (open it with a text editor?) then this is pointing to a problem with the installation process (this file is created during install, and needless to say, isn't blank). Try re-installing Serviio (if a Windows user you should be able to just go over the top of the existing version, no need to uninstall the first version).

If a re-install doesn't work - do you have a file "serviio.log" in your log folder? If so, post what you have.
