Live Stream from Serviio to PS3, Freezing 15-30 minutes?
Posted: Sun Sep 29, 2013 12:56 amI am a new user to Serviio using it as a means of live streaming hockey games from hockey-streams.com from my PC to PS3.
I have the groovy live feeds plugin and have a gaming PC more than capable of running Serviio. I have everything hard-wired to my router.
My PC plays the streams with no freezes and it is not going into sleep.
Yet my video will still freeze every 15-30 minutes on my PS3 while watching the game.
The stream will play flawlessly, without a hitch, beautiful quality for 15-30 minutes then suddenly freeze.
It produces no error code from what I can tell.
Going back into the same stream right after a freeze does nothing (it produces a black screen). I must exit my current stream, go into a different one, then back into my original for it to start playing again. Or restart my PS3.
Does anyone know why this freezing is happening? Any solutions? I provided as much detail as I could so surely someone should have an inkling.
