Serviio

Hey. Serviio works great out of the box. However, I noticed that the CPU usage goes up to 90% and stays there whenever I stream a movie with a .SRT-file associated with it (same file name). When i rename or delete the subtitle (and restart the video), the CPU usage is down at 5-15%.

Does Serviio transcodes the video because of the SRT-file? High CPU usage is usually not a problem... but the fans really are going at max speed and they very noisy on my HTPC.

Is there any way I can circumvent this?

You are using hardsubs.

Ah, thanks! Seems that subs must be hardsubbed for the PS3. Let's hope PS4 is different...
